1988 Château Lamothe, Cru Classé Sauternes
Now drinking perfectly, this Sauternes from a brilliant vintage in the region has a waxy, honeyed texture and some floral fragrant notes on the nose amongst the rich orange peel and dried apricot. Rich and full-bodied, still with plenty of refreshing acidity.
