Picked under perfect conditions, before the rains arrived in late September, this is easily as good as the 2011 or 2012 - which were also excellent vintages for white Bordeaux. Lower than average yields and strict selection representing just 40% of production have resulted in an explosive nose of ripe peach and guava. The palate is more restrained with cool, mineral-inflected, citrus fruit driven palate while 30% new oak lends a savoury element to the long finish.
