1990 was a brilliant vintage in Bordeaux, and this Cru Classé was bought directly from the château’s cellars just reecently: its provenance is perfect. It’s everything we hope for from mature claret: tobacco and spice, yet still with a deep core of fruit. It’s a real delight to behold.
