Tasted April 2023. 50% new oak, 50% older oak. 75% Merlot 25% Cabernet Franc.14.5% abv. Sophisticated and restrained with lots of character from the limestone soil here. Initially on the nose it is incredibly floral and aromatic. On the palate there are lots of mineral chalky notes surrounding very ripe, juicy cassis fruit and red cherry. Silky and sensational.
