This is a silky wine, with elegant and finely managed tannins clothed in ripe hedgerow and plum fruit. With the characteristic freshness from the limestone soils this is an approachable and totally charming wine with notes of liquorice, grilled herbs and a little dusting of cocoa powder on the finish.
