Carmes Haut Brion has quickly become one of the most in demand wines from Bordeaux, selling out every year on first release. This, their second wine, comes from a separate plot in Martillac. In 2020 it's expressive and succulent, with red cherry, black berry fruit, and lots of spice and cedar. Lifted rose petals add some fragrance, and there's richness on the palate with dark chocolate, licorice and allspice.
