The 2020 Forts de Latour is a beautiful and enticing Pauillac that shows excellent definition on the nose. Aromas of cigar tobacco, wild herbs, pencil-shavings and red and black hedgerow fruit. There is both fleshiness on the palate and tension that seems to amplify on the palate leaving echoes of dark fruit and subtle spice.
