2018 Château Tronquoy-Lalande, St-Estèphe

Tronquoy-Lalande is owned by nearby second growth Château Montrose. The 2018 is a powerful wine with dense, dark fruit and aromatic blueberry flavours. The richness builds on the palate and shows this has some serious capacity to age. There is a round, smooth texture but a fine line of acid carrying the wine through to a long finish. Seriously impressive.
