In common with the second wines of many of the top châteaux, this has a much more rigorous selection process than in the past. This is much more of a Grand Vin look-a-like than a wine simply for earlier drinking. An aromatic nose leads to an intense and pure fruited mid-palate. Highly elegant and refined with a fine tannic grip on the margin, this has the fine boned stature of the Grand Vin. Bravo.
