2014 Château d'Issan, Cru Classé Margaux

One of the oldest wine producing properties in the Medoc as well as in all of Bordeaux, the wines of Chateau d’Issan have been steadily improving since 2000. Floral, black cherry and tobacco in character, the wine is fresh with more dark cherries in the finish. This was one of my favourites of the week: I would have no hesitation in recommending it.
