Massive depth of very concentrated fruit, the nose and palate are both seriously concentrated but also very pure, fresh, juicy, crunchy even. There is excellent grip of super-fine tannins alongside fantastic freshness and acidity, as flavours of ripe, dark blackcurrants, graphite and exotic spice fill the mouth. This is as good as you would hope from Margaux - an absolute joy to behold.
