Cos have produced one of the wines of the vintage from very low yields and making the most of their state of the art winery. Pagodes was one of the finest 'second' wines we tasted all week with a richness of texture and precision not found everywhere. Notes of blackberry, pencil lead and toasty oak were coupled to a vitality and ripe structure.
