The vineyards of Duhart-Milon lie alongside those of Château Lafite-Rothschild, which was why the Rothschild family took the opportunity to purchase the property in 1962. Since then, they have poured huge amounts of investment into the estate, planting and replanting vines and installing new cellars. Reserved on the nose at this stage of its development, 2011 Duhart nonetheless displays a firm tannic structure to frame the soft, juicy fruit character. Fresh and juicy in style with excellent length, this is an excellent example of the chateau's style.
