Care for the environment is a very major concern to the vineyard management team of Château Beychevelle, where they believe in producing high quality grapes in an environmentally friendly way. This is deep and brooding with dark fruits and a toasty edge. Quite spicy, with good concentration, black fruits are present, mirroring the aromas on the nose. The tannins are tightly wound, but balanced by a refreshing burst of acidity. Given time I expect this wine to unfold and develop into a stunning St-Julien.
