2010 La Tour-du-Pin, St-Emilion
Neighbouring the Château Cheval-Blanc and under the same ownership since 2006, this is a property that is going from strength-to-strength. Vibrant on the nose, with notes of red berry fruit, plum and spice. On the palate, there is a delightful freshness from a fine vein of acidity and a rounded core of pure-natured fruit. The tannins are supremely ripe giving this a subtle, silky structure. Very good indeed.
