On the palate, the fruit is rich and almost-chocolatey, leading onto an intense, rich palate of dark berry fruit. The tannic frame of this wine is immense, giving this a dense texture, but this is offset by a linear, mineral freshness. The finish is long and pure, leaving one with an overwhelming sense of balance and poise. Truly great.
