2010 Château Belair-Monange, 1er Grand Cru Classé St-Emilion

2010 Château Belair-Monange, 1er Grand Cru Classé St-Emilion

Belair is situated on the highest point of the St. Emilion plateau, next to Château Ausone and boasting vines over 100 years old. An attractive nose of dusky, fragrant hedgerow fruit leads onto a palate, which is silky-textured, with layers of fine tannins, gentle minerality and a ripe, berry-fruit core. An elegant and expressive wine, well-balanced and appealing, with a lovely sense of purity and drive.
