A little reserved on the nose, but becoming more fragrant with time. The palate displays quite boldly expressed tannins, but they are fine-grained, ripe and are balanced by a core of attractive hedgerow fruit. A fine vein of acidity adds some freshness and lift to the finish, making this an appealing wine.
