The tannins are highly structural, but finely-realised, giving the wine a beautiful elegance despite its weight and stature. 90% Cabernet-Sauvignon, this ably demonstrates the success of the grape variety on the left bank, singing of dense, dark berries and crunchy ripe fruit. Amazingly long and fresh on the finish. This is a fantastic vintage for Ducru-Beaucaillou.
