2009 Château Plince, Pomerol

2009 Château Plince, Pomerol

The best Plince we have tasted by quite a distance, easily holding its own against far more expensive wines. Lifted and fragrant on the nose, with notes of raspberry, cherry and cream. The palate shows good extraction and clever use of oak to create complex and attractive Pomerol that will drink beautifully over the medium term. This has all the craft and subtle winemaking found in the JP Moueix stable this year, supported by a great vintage.
