The recent run of strong wines from Malescot has continued in some style with the 2009. Vivid, bright nose of ripe fruit, both red and black. This has the ripeness of fruit and a lovely silky texture, in a structured medium bodied style. There is a lot of volume here, but backed up by a degree of restraint that makes it very appealing and a winning combination of both vintage and commune.Robert Parker: 95-97 points (Wine Advocate 188)
