Scented, sweet, restrained berry aromas with a cedary aspect. The success of the Grand Vin is shared here. This is admirably fresh and pure with a juicy, dark berry nature and a surprisingly layered intensity, all of which is coupled with notes of blackcurrant leaf and toast. Streamlined and harmonious, the tannins are round and unobtrusive, making for a glossy, appealing Carruades. Very polished, with fine intensity and length, this is comfortably the finest Carruades ever made. A very attractive, classical style.
