Offering classic Cabernet-driven characters of graphite and blackcurrant leaf on the nose, the 2007 St-Pierre continues this château’s resurgent run of good form. Pure and stylish with an ample note to its ripe fruit. This is well knit with good volume and some sense of taut structure. Fine-grained silky tannins add to the glossy texture. An expressive wine, this reveals good depth and more potential to age than many of its neighbours. Impressive in this vintage.
