2007 Château Duhart-Milon-Rothschild, Cru Classé Pauillac

2007 Château Duhart-Milon-Rothschild, Cru Classé Pauillac

The colour is deep, but the nose is slightly subdued, with only hints of the classic Pauillac hallmarks of cedar and tobacco. The palate is the opposite, with good intensity of fruit, lovely texture and some real structure. There is absolutely no sign of unripeness and the tannins are finely grained; there is an almost exotic touch, with black fruits to the fore and even a touch of mint.
