2006 Château Bellevue, Grand Cru Classé St-Emilion

2006 Château Bellevue, Grand Cru Classé St-Emilion

A six hectare property that is located opposite Château Angélus. Bellevue
is under the same stewardship as Pavie-Macquin, with the highly
reputed Nicolas Thienpont and his capable team responsible for
winemaking. A 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc assemblage, Bellevue
reveals a rich, generous nose, with open, luscious, spicy fruit on the
palate. As usual, this is a wine with a solid structure, yet we found a
genuine refinement in the wine and juicy flamboyance.
