2004 Château Poujeaux, Cru Bourgeois Moulis

2004 Château Poujeaux, Cru Bourgeois Moulis

In my view (an opinion shared by the L&W team) Poujeaux is a star performer amongst the middle-Médoc appellations of Moulis and Listrac. Open and positive, the wine has an exhilarating freshness and excellent balance of fruit, tannin and acidity. A cru bourgeois of impeccable quality and an honest, frank Cabernet/Merlot blend that has a proven track record. This is claret drinkers' claret – as attractive a moulis-en-médoc as one could hope to find.
