Higher yields than last year were carefully controlled by a double green harvest, before a late harvest in the first two weeks of October. 49% Merlot (picked 5, 6, 8, 9 Oct), 51% Cabernet Franc (12 Oct). This wine has great depth but all that intensity has yet to be unlocked. Hints of cedar and blackcurrant leaf give freshness to the full body and tight-knit rather linear tannins.
