2004 Château Cos d'Estournel, Cru Classé St-Estèphe
Suitably deep and intense in appearance, the nose exudes bold, black cherry fruit with charred, toasted oak nuances. The palate shows a wine of generous proportions, very substantial and equally well balanced. Terrific density and firm, yet finely expressed tannins are offset by a marked freshness that will continue to breathe life into this Cos for many years to come.
