2003 Château Durfort-Vivens, Cru Classé Margaux

Despite Gonzague Lurton’s incredibly low yields and meticulous fruit selection, Durfort-Vivens is a wine that rests not on power but on harmony. Beautifully focused, the fruit is tightly integrated and balances purity and elegance with evident structure on the finish. A very fine wine that will need a decade to release its potential.
