2003 Château Ferrière, Cru Classé Margaux

2003 Château Ferrière, Cru Classé Margaux

One of the smallest and least-known classified estates, third growth Château Ferrière has risen in stature of late. Recent vintages have impressed and we believe that Claire has priced her 2003 fairly, particularly as production is well down this year. Ferrière is a profoundly coloured, brooding and structured margaux, with an intensity of vibrant cassis and black cherry fruit. Very good Cabernet-dominated wine from the talented hands of Claire Villars-Lurton.
