Weingut Emmerich Knoll

Emmerich Knoll is one of Austria's top producers of white wine. Just outside the village of Durnstein, in the heart of the Wachau, Emmerich III and his family (plus a beautiful black dog) manage 16 hectares of some of region's premier sites. Theirs are precise ageworthy wines, as traditional as their iconic labels. Most of their work is devoted to Riesling and Gruner Veltliner, made to reflect the terroir of each of the specific, highly desirable plots which the Knoll family is so fortunate to farm.
