With vineyards carved out of the rolling hills of Napa Valley, Harlan Estate is surrounded by craggy forest and wild woodlands. With each vine touched by a different composition of soil and nestled in a rippling terrain of changing elevations, Harlan wines capture the complex character of the land. Established in 1984 and inspired by Bordeaux producers, Harlan Estate is guided by a vision to create a ‘first growth’ of California. And it is this mission that has informed the high and exacting standards of this winery. With ~40 acres under vine dedicated to classic varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, Harlan meet their mission with gusto. Producing a range of Harlan cabernet blends and proprietary reds renowned for their powerful, rich, and expressive notes.
