Set in the rolling hills of Central Otago, the southernpost point in the world where Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are grown, lies the biodynamic haven that is Felton Road. One of the most internationally commended wineries in New Zealand, Felton Road was founded by Stewart Elms and has been stewarded by Englishman Nigel Greening since 2001, when he promptly converted to biodynamic agriculture. The older these vines get, the better and more complex these small production wines become.
"Arguably the country's internationally best-known fine-wine producer." Jancis Robinson
