The Gosset family have been producing champagne from vineyards in Aÿ since 1584, making them one of, if not the, oldest champagne producers in existence today. This small producer is run today by descendants Michel and Christian Gosset who manage around 24 acres of vineyard, situated on the best hillsides of Aÿ, scattered across the Premier Crus of Avenay, Dizy and Mareuil and a tiny plot of Grand Cru in Chouilly (a Chardonnay village) all of which helps to create the distinctive Champagne Gosset style.
