Albert Bichot (Clos Frantin & Long Depaquit)
The beautiful 18th century Domaine du Clos Frantin is one of several estates owned by family-run négociant Albert Bichot. Although the company owns over 100 hectares, the organically-farmed seven hectares of Clos Frantin are the jewel in their crown. Lying in the heart of Nuits-St-Georges, they also have vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée and Vougeot, over half of which are premier or grand cru, counting Clos de Vougeot, Échezeaux and Richebourg among others in their holdings. Thanks to considerable investments and the talents of Alberic Bichot and head winemaker Alain Serveau, their wines have achieved critical acclaim.
