The 2020 Connect the Dots comes from vineyards in Elgin, Stellenbosch (on the Helderberg and Polkadraai) and Darling. It shows plenty of plum fruit, with some spice, and plenty of grip. This is saline and pure, with tannins that coat the mouth. It’s ready to go now, with a softness to the fruit and structure, but we’re sure it will age brilliantly, too.

The 2020 Experimental Syrah comes from a single estate in Elgin. It’s a cool climate Syrah with loads of fresh, juicy fruit, a long and delicate finish, and just the right amount of tannic structure. This is delicious - a spectacular bargain - and can be enjoyed right away. But don’t dismiss its ability to age for a couple of years.
