2023 Clos du Marquis, St-Julien Dry | Red | Still

Tasted April 2024. 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc. 13.5% ABV. 50% new barrels. Fresh blackcurrant and blackcurrant pastille on the nose, with juicy, sappy bramble on the palate. Refreshing and lively with bright acidity and generous, ripe fruit. The tannins are smooth even at this early stage.
