Nestled in the Willamette Valley, Beaux Frères has played a pioneering role in Oregon's rise to world recognition for great Pinot Noir. In 2017 the Henriot family of Champagne and Bouchard and Fèvre from Burgundy acquired a majority share of Beaux Frères, with the founders, the Etzel family, remaining as managing partners. The Belles Sœurs is a hand-selected barrel reserve from the three estate vineyards. Extremely elegant and fine with delicate red and black berries and spice on the nose, there's greater breadth and richness on the palate, with considerable finesse and freshness.

A delicious, fragrant expression of Sangiovese full of wild strawberry, and savoury-tinged plums. There's plenty of musky, aromatic spice and a long refreshing finish. This is ethereal and light on its feet, you can see why Bibi Graetz has such a cult following.

Cairossa has been owned by the same people as Chateau Giscours in Margaux since 2004 and is based on the Tuscan coast. 2019 is full of creamy red berry fruits and plenty of sappy tannins. There's some crunchier fruit on the palate and some woody herb flavours, as well as some more earthy spice.

A trailblazing cuvee from Catena that focuses on the execptional terroir here. There's limestone soils and 1500m of elevation, leaving the wine with beautiful freshness and mineral tones. There are tons of aromatics, with vibrant red berry fruit and some floral blue fruits. There's chalkiness to the tannins and complex, dried herb notes. One of the most exciting wines coming out of Argentina.

Maya is from a tiny plot of the Dalla Valle vineyard, which sits between Pritchard Hill and the Oakville valley floor, by Screaming Eagle. This has a third Cabernet Franc and this comes across in the savoury, fragrant character. It's full of wild berry fruit and black cherry, with iron-mineral notes, aromatic spice and crushed stone. Full of grace and finesse with a bright, fresh, mineral-driven finish.

Rich and powerful, with savoury complexity harnessing the exuberant black fruit. There's cassis, black cherry and black plum with tobacco, espresso and cedar. Deep and brooding, there is a firmness to the tannins now that will soften in time, with 43% new oak in the blend. A terrific effort from Todd DeVincezi, Philippe Bascaules and the team.

The first vintage of this wine to be released outside of the US, Illumination is a rich, textured white sourced from both Napa and Sonoma valleys. Expect a musky, aromatic style of Sauvignon Blanc with lemon, melon and peach, with richness and weight from Semillon.
