Cabernet Sauvignon
The world’s most widely planted grape variety plays a key role in many of the planet’s most famous wines, from the Médoc to Bolgheri, Napa Valley to Coonawarra. Most impressive is this grape’s ability to show its origins clearly, alongside its considerable aging potential thanks to a structured character. Cabernet Sauvignon is often blended with other varieties such as Merlot in Bordeaux, which is used to add fruit-forward stuffing and makeup to Cabernet Sauvignon’s ample framework.
