Argentine Wine

The Andes are key to the story of wine in Argentina, providing the altitude to endow the wines with freshness, whilst shielding the vines from heavy rains. Malbec is the mainstay, with some of the best examples crafted from old vines by producers like Nicolas Catena, who in the most famous region of Mendoza often blends Malbec with Cabernet Sauvignon for structure and complexity.
