From three different parcels in La Morra and Monforte d'Alba, this is a beautiful and elegant style of Nebbiolo that has a distinctly Burgundian elegance. 2016 Brut Vintage, Louis Roederer Dry | White | Sparkling | 12.5%

A blend of 68% Pinot Noir and 32% Chardonnay with around a third of the base wine vinified in oak barrel before the second fermentation. The nose is so inviting with aromas of red berries, orange peel, butter shortbread, and subtle notes of ginger. 2023 Cornas, Les Vieilles Vignes, Alain Voge Dry | Red | Still | 13%

One of the flagship wines of the estate the Vieilles Vignes comes from vines of an average age of 60-70 years. It uses around 20% whole bunch fruit and around 10% new oak for ageing. It is a spicy and rather brooding wine with notes of warm rocks and deep subsuming bramble fruit. Yet there is freshness and vibrancy here that make the wine feel quite elegant and sculpted. Very fine and very characterful.
