The new generation of one of Austria’s top producers
Christina and David of Weingut Rainer Wess are making some of the most exciting wines we’ve come across, anywhere in the world. Christina took over the estate from her father Rainer in 2023, continuing the family legacy of magnificent wines in the Kremstal region of Austria. Indeed, we love her wines so much that we were delighted to have Christina produce the Grüner Veltliner for Our Collection range, which is a fantastic example of their specialist grape.
In March Christina will be visiting London, and we couldn’t miss the opportunity to join her for a dinner to showcase her wines, which represent some of Austria’s best. Alongside the brilliant Rieslings and Grüners, we will also show a pair of vintages of her Pinot Noir, made in absolutely tiny quantities.
For the dinner we will be taking over the newly-opened private dining room at Noble Rot Mayfair, and the centrepiece of the meal will be an entire suckling pig to share - the perfect foil for the Wess wines. We are sure it will be another exceptional evening, so please do secure your place below.
