An intimate dinner with one of South Africa’s New Wave pioneers
We’d be hard-pushed to think of a producer in our range whose wines offer better value than Keermont. For two decades they have been establishing themselves at the forefront of the New Wave of South African wine, a movement that has excited us no end. Owners Mark and Monica Wraith purchased the farms that now comprise Keermont in 2003, and two years later hired Alex Starey to manage the vineyards and the winemaking at the estate.
The reputation of the wines under Alex’s stewardship has skyrocketed. Complex and refreshing Chenins, ageworthy and concentrated Syrahs, and superb expressions of Bordeaux varieties are all united in their consistently high quality.
We are delighted to be joined by Alex on the 11th September, a week before he will be pouring his wines at our South Africa tasting, for a very special dinner with a small number of spaces available. We will try several of the wines in the Keermont range, including some real rarities, such as the small-production Fleurfontein sweet wine.
This is a rare opportunity to dine with one of South Africa’s most exciting winemakers. To add to the intimacy, we will be taking over the Private Dining Room at The 10 Cases, one of London’s iconic wine establishments, beloved by vinous enthusiasts for over a decade.

If you can no longer make it, you’re welcome to find a guest to attend in your place - simply share the name of the new attendee with us. If you fail to do so, we’ll do our very best to credit your ticket towards the purchase of future wines, although regrettably, we cannot process credits with less than 48 hours’ notice prior to the start of the event.
