‘Spottswoode Cabernets are the stuff from which hyperbole is made’
We are thrilled to be joined next month by Beth Novak Milliken - President, CEO and second-generation family member at the legendary Spottswoode Estate in Napa - for a dinner with her wines in London.
In recent years we have bolstered our Californian range hugely, to include some of the most historic and most dynamic estates in this distinctive region. Spottswoode fits the bill on both counts - the first vines were planted in 1882 - but it has also been one of the earliest to adopt organic and sustainable viticulture.
The wines are nothing less than spectacular. Focusing predominantly on Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, they are ranked amongst the finest in all of California. The Spottswoode Estate Cabernet Sauvignon represents the pinnacle of their winemaking, and we will be spoiled with four vintages of this iconic wine over the dinner.
We will be holding the evening at renowned Chelsea institution Medlar, where the wines will be in the excellent company of Chef Joe Mercer Nairne’s brilliant cooking.
This will be a superb evening, and an opportunity to enjoy some of California’s greatest wines. Not to be missed!

If you can no longer make it, you’re welcome to find a guest to attend in your place - simply share the name of the new attendee with us. If you fail to do so, we’ll do our very best to credit your ticket towards the purchase of future wines, although regrettably, we cannot process credits with less than 48 hours’ notice prior to the start of the event.
