A very special dinner with author Jon Bonné of The New French Wine
At Lay & Wheeler, we’ve always prided ourselves in staying true to tradition with an eye towards the new and exciting. And when we find producers who encapsulate the best of both worlds, particularly when coming from such an established wine producing country as France, we get understandably excited.
That’s why we’re especially thrilled to be hosting the inimitable Jon Bonné at a narrative wine dinner following the launch of his new book - The New French Wine: Redefining the World’s Greatest Wine Culture.
Lauded as one of the most influential wine and food writers of our time, Jon brings an unparalleled passion and intellect to everything that he touches. For nearly a decade, he served as the Wine Editor and Chief Wine Critic of The San Francisco Chronicle, and won two James Beard awards and numerous other accolades. He is also author of the bestselling books The New California Wine and The New Wine Rules.
Over the course of the evening we will be tasting a series of wines from producers highlighted in the book, both established names and some more off the beaten track. And as part of the ticket price, you’ll be able to walk away with a signed copy of Jon’s book.
With just 14 seats available, come and join us for an unforgettable evening as Jon takes us through the past, present, and future of French wine through his lens.
