A rare opportunity to meet one of the leading lights of Bordeaux
To any lover of Bordeaux, Nicolas Glumineau needs no introduction. After an extensive and varied career including time in the French Special Services and a dual education in genetics and opera singing, Nicolas was the winemaker at Chȃteau Montrose for 6 years before taking the helm at Chȃteau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande in Pauillac, and Chȃteau de Pez in St Estèphe.
We are thrilled to be joined by him to host a very special dinner in March, looking at both properties across several vintages (plus a magnificent apéritif in the form of Champagne Louis Roederer’s new Collection 243). Pichon Lalande is of course known worldwide, but we are also excited to be focusing on the wines of Chȃteau de Pez - an estate that has been leaping up in quality since Nicolas’s tenure.
In keeping with the Bordeaux theme, we will be returning to Clarette in Marylebone, where as the name suggests the team know a thing or two about fine wine, as well as fine food to pair with it.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet one of the most impressive winemakers in the world, and not one to be missed.
