This is LVMH's project to make the greatest wine in China, and no expense has been spared. The vineyards are incredibly high, a good one thousand metres higher than any European vineyard, and they are shaded a lot from the sun as a result of the slopes. The result is a breathtaking Bordeaux blend, with sappy red fruit, some darker bramble fruit, lots of freshness and acidity, exotic spice, and plenty of grainy tannins at this early stage. This is built to age, with some subtle cigar, cedar and earth notes developing already.
