Yarra Yering Dry Red Wine No 1 is one of the flagship wines from Yarra Yering, founded in 1969 by Dr Bailey Carrodus, and now led by award winning winemaker Sarah Crowe. Dry Red No 1 is their Bordeaux style blend and it’s full of precise Cabernet character with blackberry, blackcurrant, anise, along with fine tannins. It’s medium-bodied, fruit-driven now but with earthy notes developing, and a long, poised finish.
