2005 Botrytis Riesling, Tamar Ridge, Tasmania
Reveals a floral, citrus perfume with hints of apricot, peach and orange zest. The palate is beautifully fresh and ripe with a wealth of luscious, tropical yet vibrant flavours. A cool climate Riesling with the texture of a fine mosel auslese late harvest. Exquisite race balances the natural sweetness achieved from allowing the grapes to hang and shrivel on the vines. Alcohol is 9.0%, which is also in line with great Mosel wines, and the wine is bottled under screwcap to preserve freshness and flavour purity. We recommend drinking with fresh fruit desserts and mild cheeses.
