Mauro describes this as his most elegant and silky Barolo owing to the more calcareous soils in Gramolere’s south-west facing site. There’s some lovely development already on the nose, with some lifted black cherry fruit, classic tar complexity, and a well-structured palate with plenty of succulent fruit.
